Outer Island policies for booking and for your stay with us: Deposits:

• For weekly stays:  A valid credit card deposit of 50% is due at the time of booking. Payment in full is then due 30 days prior to your stay. Both deposit and balance are non-refundable. This credit card number is also required to cover damages, should any be incurred. Damages will be charged according to the current repair or replacement value of the item(s)
• For B&B stays and shorter off-season stays: A non-refundable deposit of 50% is due at the time of booking. The balance is due on arrival.

1) Sorry, no guest pets  2) Horses are a passion of ours and we have a few for you to visit with over the fence or when we are with them. We are sorry that we do not offer horseback riding to our guests. 3) Tenting is not permitted at Outer Island 4) Smoking is permitted outdoors only. 5) Families are welcome 6) Whispers after 10:00 pm. As this is our family home and a working farm, we are up early so ask for quiet after 10:00 pm 7) The swimming pool is for use by all residents and guests at Outer Island between the hours of 9:30 am and 8:30 pm 8) Guest visitors are welcome during the day when pre-arranged with us 9) Hornby Island has limited water in the summer months and therefore our guest units do not have washing machines. There are laundry facilities available at Joe King Park. We can do the occasional load for you here for a charge of $10 - wash, dry, fold. The last ferry to Hornby leaves Buckley Bay (on Vancouver Island) at 6:00 pm each day except Friday when there are later sailings. Please check for an up-to-date schedules at BC Ferries. Bank machines are available at the Co-op store and Union Bay Credit Union.
